If you think the weather and gloom is depressing, think of having to be as homebound as Grandpa is. We wold love you and feed you and cater to you if you would come and visit. Steve and Wendy came and visited last night for a few minutes because Steve's drivers licence came here. Still it was fun to have them come. They brought Tyler, who is sporting a nice new pair of spectacles. He looks cute and smart in them and keeps them on! Our home is available for anyone to have a party, even if we are not invited. If anyone would like to watch the Super Bowl here, then COME ON DOWN! (or over or up as the case may be). I am planning to get a lot of snacks with my coupons, so dont be afraid to show up. It was a fun season. We got to see so many dear ones and we still have a lot of goodies that somebody better come and eat. I was always taught not to waste food, so if you don't come and have some, grandpa and I will suffer horrendous weight gain.
Our next get together will be for Grandpa's birthday on Thursday. It is also Uncle Steve Hulses birthday, so come one come all for cake and ice cream! Love, Grandma.

Alright all you naughty little elves, we will be a gatherin at around 10:00A.M. on Christmas Eve morn and we will have a brunch for the bunch. It may make the time go a little faster for those who are so anxious they can hardly stand it. (Like me) I am making 4 kinds of muffins and fritatas. Bring anything that goes with breakfast.Fruit or juice or bacon. Salsa for the fritatas, butter, milk, cocoa powder.(We have water.) Sausage goes good,too. I don't know if we need biscuits and gravy, but if that is your favorite, let me know. We will have some breakfast cereal for the little kids who wont eat anything else.
